Guaranteed to give you an unforgettable experience.
This heavenly-made villa offers an amazing experience of relaxation and rejuvenation. The Nest can proudly boast that it offers one of the most breathtaking views in Corfu.
Its views towards the Ionian Sea, Corfu Old Town and Fortress, neighbour islands, Albania’s and mainland Greece’s mountains, the famous Gouvia yacht harbour, as well as the lacy shorelines, “compose” an unparalleled scenery.
A unique, natural living experience
The Nest is eco-friendly, built entirely of wood and provides a healthy and natural living while offering a unique experience from the moment you enter the front door and are surrounded by the scent of pine. Its cosiness and warmth will instantly make you feel at home and guarantee an unforgettable experience.
Built on a plot of 4800 sqm, this villa offers every modern comfort and the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. With five stylishly furnished bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, the villa offers space for up to 11 people.
Ideal location
The Villa is located upon the hillside of Saint Eleni, Kato Korakiana, in the outskirts of Corfu town, close to the Gouvia yacht harbour, one of the top of Greece. It is very close to the sea (5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk) and ‘strategically’ located to allow easy access to the most beautiful beaches and places of North, West and East Corfu, while remaining at a convenient distance to the Corfu town for your evening & night life!
The village centre is a 5-minute walk where the local market, cafes, taverns and bus stop are. The surrounding hillside is also suitable for mountain-biking, trekking and exploration.
Magnificent surroundings
The Villa is surrounded by old cypress and olive trees. Behind its wooden gates, there are shade trees, which give the impression of ever-lasting spring, whereas the olive trees, banana plants, cypresses, holms, judas trees, cherries, lotuses, pomegranates and myrtles create a feast of colours. Wandering around its formidable gardens will awaken your senses and lead you to emotions of invigoration.
Depending on the season, one can live the amazing experience of collecting their own fruit. It is worth mentioning that all trees are biologically cultivated.
The driveway starting from the wooden gate ends to the front door. The pavement around the house is suitable for cycling, jogging and walking. There is also a sand pit where children can enjoy playing and take the most out of their creativity.
The complex offers lots of sunbathing areas, garden furniture and seating to enjoy tranquillity and total privacy.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is one of the most attractive features of the property. Its crystal-like waters harmonize favourably with a rocky waterfall. The 65m2 kidney shaped swimming pool is covered with rock-style tiles giving out stunning turquoise coloured water, while led lighting gleams inside the pool during the night. Plenty of space around the pool allows for sunbathing or relaxation under the shade trees. The fenced pool ensures children’s safety.
Interior space, ground-level
Entering the front door, a spacious living room welcomes you to a friendly household with a warm ambience. The dining area, the library and the office, the kitchen, two guest rooms, a bathroom and the living room constitute the first level of the residence (fully air-conditioned). The most exquisite feature of the living room is the stone fireplace located between two large windows with direct views to the gardens, the sea and the swimming pool. The amazing panoramic view can be enjoyed even from the comfort of the living room and the office too!
The dining-room and kitchen
The dining room is semi-separated from the living room. A wide window with views to the colourful plantation and the swimming pool add up to the decoration. The kitchen uses a minimalistic design, whereas the pale-turquoise traditionally painted cupboards and facades contrast perfectly with the wooden walls. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, whereas two windows provide ambient light and views to the forest.
Office and ground-floor bedrooms
A large office, equipped with a desk, laser printer, telephone, Ethernet cable and 20’’ flat-screen monitor is available as a working space. The office area may also be used as a second living room or extra bedroom as it offers a 3-seat sofa, and a 2-seat sofa bed. There are also two bedrooms, which can either be autonomous, since they have a separate door, or function as an undivided large room through an internal door that connects them. These two rooms and the office share a bathroom and can be isolated with an extra door from the rest of the house for extra privacy.
Interior space, Upper floor
A spacious staircase in the living room leads to the upper level, which consists of three large bedrooms, one bathroom and a utility room with a washing machine. All bedrooms have spacious bright-coloured closets and large windows which lead to a balcony shared between two of them. A fully-equipped, pebble-tiled bathroom lies next to the bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with ceiling fan and A/C.
A sense of community
The villa is located at the end of a private road and is an idyllically peaceful place to dwell. It can be used as a holiday resort or for permanent accommodation, since it is close to the city capital. Being close to the center of the village, a great communication between the residents and the locals can be built through participation to communal activities. The General Hospital of Corfu in Kontokali bay and the Medical Care Centre of Saint Markus are at a distance of 7 minutes by car, while restaurants, shops and schools are situated in the nearby area.
