This villa is located at Cape Sounio which is found at the southern tip of the Attica peninsula in Greece.
Cape Sounio is noted as the site of ruins of an ancient Greek temple of Poseidon, the god of the sea in classical mythology. Taking an afternoon walk to the Temple to watch the magnificent sunset and views to the Aegean Sea is a must.
Our villa is private and peaceful. It is embedded to the natural landscape but it has a unique location right at a small hill only a few meters above the coast line. Guests can walk to the closest beach within a few minutes.
Guests are encouraged to visit Lavrio (10 Km) or 15 minute drive, which is a known city since Antiquity. Visitors can find there an interesting market, upbeat bars and well known restaurants for their Greek souvlaki, Greek tapas  or local specialties such as fresh fish and seafood. The city is safe for families traveling with children. There are ice cream places almost at every corner and nice board walks for long bike rides or simple strolling around the city.
Finally, guests can take the ferry from the port of Lavrio and find themselves within an hour (!) at the beautiful island of KEA (also known as TZIA) which is the closest island of the Cyclades to Athens.

The villa has a unique location as it is 3 minute walk from the closet beach.
The guest can rent a car to get from the international airport “El. Venizelos” to the property (40 Km or 25 minutes of drive).
In addition, the villa is on the coast line where public transportation is readily available. There is a bus connecting Cape Sounion to Athens which runs on a regular basis including weekends and major holidays (80 Km or 1.5 hours).
The city of Lavrio is very easily accessible by car or by bus within 15 minutes (10 Km).
The Olympic Marina is a 10 minute (8 Km) drive.
