An old, typically built cave house, dig in the lava and at the edge of the cliff with a terrace of 180 degrees view towards the caldera, so one can feel part of it all.

House 1:
One double bedroom with a lot of storage space, one bathroom, one living room which could host comfortably two more people, by opening the two futon couches turning them into two extra double beds and a fully equipped kitchen,WiFi and fans.
And of course, the hot spot of the house is the super privileged terrace with 180 degrees view of caldera, the whole Santorini island, the volcano and Thirasia island on your right.
Free your eyes in the deep blue, chill on the terrace with meals and breakfast which you can cook in our fully equipped kitchen and save money from eating out every day. Enjoy some drinks at night in the most peaceful neighborhood of Oia Santorini. When the moon comes out this terrace is the best place to be and later on the stars seem like a dome above your head.
Owners tried to keep the tradition of the cave houses and interfere as less as possible with the natural form so there is no separation of rooms in order to get the advantage of the light in the whole house. The architecture is cleverly done preventing the privacy in each room.

House 2 :
Two double beds, in mezzanines (facing each other) one bathroom, a living room, with 2 couches and a fully equipped kitchen,WiFi, fans and heating for winter months. And of course, the hot spot of the house is the super privileged terrace with 180 degrees view of caldera, the whole Santorini island, the volcano and Thirasia island on your right. In whatever bed you sleep in House 2 there is a small window facing the view from the upper levels of the house.

The Neighborhood

The house is located next to the Venetian Castle, where people gather from all around the world to visit this famous sunset spot and no more than three minutes away from the main street where one can find all the shops, restaurants and art galleries.

Getting Around

Oia is a beautiful village best known for its exquisite sunsets. The streets are paved with old marble. Here in this delightful village many tourists come and rent a traditional mountain home called an yposcapho. It is a simple dwelling built into the mountainside with all the necessary but rustic accommodation. It can be a bit daunting to find your house in the dark on very steep mountain paths but the spectacular view is worth it. Many locals come to Oia for the excellent cuisine. Tavera Katina is at the end of the island (Ammoudi) and has an unbelievable view

It can be easily rented. Estimated daily income from rentals is 600-800 euros per day. In Santorini hotels and rental villas operate for 220 days. With a 70% occupancy rate, you can estimate a yearly income of 100-120.000 euros.

Santorini is poised to welcome visitors for the 2025 tourist season with renewed optimism and a commitment to maintaining its status as one of the world’s premier travel destinations. Despite recent seismic activity, Santorini is ready to embrace a successful season, taking inspiration from the remarkable recovery of Rhodes in the previous year.

The official start of the season will be marked by the arrival of the first cruise passengers aboard the Celestyal Discovery on 23rd March 25. Approximately 1,265 visitors will set foot on the island, greeted warmly by the local community. This signals the beginning of an exciting period for Santorini, with an estimated 50 cruise ships scheduled to visit in April alone.
